AX 2020 and World Cosplay Summit USA Finals

We have important news to share regarding the World Cosplay Summit (WCS) USA Finals and related preliminary events.

With the cancellation of Anime Expo 2020, we are saddened to announce there will be no WCS USA Finals for 2020.

The cancellation of the WCS USA Finals will result in the following changes for the WCS USA Competitions across the country:

• All Registered contestants will have the option to rollover their participation in the WCS USA Finals to AX 2021.
• Teams who have won a Preliminary or Runner Up will have their prizes rolled over to AX 2021 automatically. The WCS USA Staff will be in touch with badge and housing information as it becomes available.
• All purchased badges will be eligible for a refund or roll over as per the Anime Expo badge refund policy. If you or your family have purchased tickets to the AX Masquerade/WCS USA Finals, refund information should be made available soon.

We understand that this is an event our cosplay community plans for in earnest every year. We thank you all for your participation and understanding in this unprecedented time and hope you will all consider returning for 2021. As this situation is ever developing, we will be doing out utmost to keep you all as best informed as possible on any updates from WCS USA and WCS Japan.
