WCS USA Preliminaries are regional events around the United States hosted at partner conventions with prize packages including airfare, hotel stay, badges and a guaranteed slot in the WCS USA Finals at Anime Expo. These events are not pre-qualifiers – they are an opportunity for teams around the country to win their way to the Finals!

ANIME EXPO

Anime Expo is an annual event bringing fans and industry together for a celebration of Japanese pop culture. Anime Expo is also the home of the WCS USA Finals where we select WCS Team USA.

WCS CHAMPIONSHIP JAPAN

The World Cosplay Summit is an annual event held in Nagoya, Japan since 2003. It is a celebration of cosplay and culture spanning multiple days and climaxing in a grand Championship where one team will be crowned the World Cosplay Summit Champion.
