Cupcake Cosplay is Starlighthoney and Breathlessaire from Washington, DC. They qualified in Houston, Texas at Anime Matsuri 2013, and competed in their final immediately following their qualifier to become Team USA. They represented the USA in Nagoya with incredible costumes from some of their favorite anime- Magic Knight Rayearth, Ah! My Goddess, Sailor Moon, and Fushigi Yuugi. For Championship they enthralled the crowd and the world with their beautiful transforming costumes from Alice in the Land of Hearts. Their impeccable craftsmanship and engaging storytelling lead them to be the first US team to bring home multiple awards.
